Pork chops are such a wonderful meal to cook in an air fryer. We had been cooking them in the oven only to have our fire alarm setting off because of the smoke from the oven...not to mention a nasty dirty oven to clean. The air fryer eliminates that all together and you end up with delicious pork chops, less mess, less cooking time....yayyyy!
2 bone in pork loin pork chops
1 tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil - distribute evenly on both sides of the pork chops.
Mix up the season blend, we use a combination of: 1 Tblsp. garlic powder, 1 Tblsp. paprika, 1 Tblsp. ground celery seed, 1 Tblsp. Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper, 1/2 tsp. salt, then lightly sprinkle each pork chop until nicely seasoned. Store the remainder of the season blend in an air tight jar - great on any meat, fish or vegetable dish.
Lightly season the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees for five minutes. The cooking time will vary depending on the size of your pork chops, you will want an internal temperature of 145-150 degrees. Add the seasoned pork chops to the basket and cook 10- 13 min. turning over half way through. Once cooked remove to a plate, cover with aluminum foil and let rest five minutes. Serve along side any side dishes.
