I have been having fun in the kitchen with my new toy.  What a delight it has been using a good Food Processor!
This post is to showcase the recipes and food we have been eating these past few weeks - some new, some not new....but also to mention, working with a food processor is not only fun, it makes life easier!  I will admit, the first few times using this processor, has been a learning experience.  And I even watched the DVD that came with this processor....but as much as I am visual, I am very much a hands on kind of gal!
So, without further are some pictures and some links:
One of the first things I made was a simple Ragu Pasta Sauce - too easy: (I don't think I have ever posted this recipe because it is so basic - meat, diced veggies, tomatoes, seasoning etc.)
A breakfast Smoothie is always a wonderful way to start your day:
Here are a couple of lunch ideas - first a creamy red and green coleslaw: (here is a basic coleslaw recipe)
Or how about a Curry Pate...
Then we have a lovely Curry Squash Soup:
Or how about for dinner:  Danish, well kind of, Chicken Frikadellar:
Oh, I must not forget, one of my All Time Favorites:  Salsa:
Then finally...drum roll die for...Gluten Free Yorkshire Pudding/PopOvers:
It really has been a fun time in the kitchen.  Do you use a food processor?  Would you like to share some of your favorite recipes?

  1. Waw, Ina!
You are certainly in love of your new food processor! I can't blame you because I am so in love with my Kenwood 2400 Watt & with my hubby, of course!!!! It has its own foodprocessor too! & I use it also all the time & also to make for crusts to put on fish & meat and also to make marinades & pulse up spices etc. Every dish looks so tempting & also the chicken frikadellar! Yum!

  2. I hope this works... I have been having a bad time with comments recently - the comment monster eats them as I try to submit... humph!
I love using toys in the kitchen - the only thing I don't like about them is the washing up! My food processor is not dishwasher safe, which puts me off it slightly 🙂

    1. Janet - I agree! Mine is dishwasher safe, but so far, I have been washing the parts by hand...a bit of a pain...but I love the food processor too much anyways! My old one was 22 years old, and just no longer measured up! 🙂

  3. Yay! It worked!!
I wrote a huge comment about your veggie garden - which the monster ate...
We are having a cold, wet spring - so our garden is much slower than last year. Today is very windy, so there is more damage...
    Frustrating isn't it? 🙁

    1. There is something so cool about the fact that you live on the other side of the world, just entering spring....we are in late fall, but dang it is cold! Feels like winter is coming early to our neck of the woods! 🙂
